After earning her bachelor’s degree in Biological Anthropology from Emory University, Dr. Lara continued her education at Columbia University, where she received her dental degree. She went on to complete a General Practice Residency at the Portland VA Hospital, gaining valuable experience providing complex dental care to the veteran population.
Dr. Lara Kacherian’s favorite part of dentistry is creating a positive and comfortable experience for her patients while delivering high-quality care. She is passionate about the evolving field of dentistry and stays engaged with advancements in technology to better serve her patients. She is especially attentive to the small details that help patients feel at ease and confident in their care.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Lara enjoys trying new restaurants and cuisines, attending dance classes, and spending time with her husband and two children. She values building lasting relationships with her patients and loves getting to know them beyond their dental care while helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles.
