I was born and raised in Vancouver, WA, where I attended Mountain View High School. After majoring in psychology and chemistry at Brigham Young University, I furthered my education at the Indiana University School for Dentistry and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to be a dentist, just like my father. My favorite part of dentistry is getting to know my patients and exceeding their expectations about what a visit to the dentist can be.
I have focused most of my continuing education on Dental Sleep Medicine and Adult Orthodontics. Early in my career I discovered a passion for treating patients who have Obstructive Sleep Apnea and have become a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. I believe healthy sleep is the foundation for a healthy life. I also love helping my patients achieve a confident smile through Adult Orthodontics. I am always impressed with how quickly Orthodontics can improve a patient’s smile and more importantly a patient’s attitude about their smile.
When not at the office, I trade in my white coat for referee stripes and a whistle, so I can help manage a house with four energetic young sons. Luckily, I have a wonderful wife who’s homeschooling passion seems to be successfully transforming those wild little boys into polite young men. I love reading, game nights with friends, participating in my Church, and joining my kids on field trips. I am also a loyal fan of the Seahawks, Trailblazers, and BYU Cougars.
